Please remember that clinicians are only allocated time for ONE PROBLEM per APPOINTMENT.

Why?

One problem as safety comes first and can cause a distraction from dealing with your main problem. Ensures no serious illness is missed. Allows the clinician to focus on one area at a time.

Before coming to your appointment, we ask if you can highlight your concerns. Thinking about important information and symptoms. Book another appointment for different areas.

We have to say a farewell to Dr Saluja, who has successfully finished 4 months at the surgery in his Specialty Trainee Year 1 (ST1). Thank you for your help. This month we have welcomed Dr Zaidi who is in his final year of training. In January, we will have appointments with trainee students.

Winter illnesses will be directed to a new hub located in Stafford. Details will be  given when an appointment has been offered.

We have successfully vaccinated 4,440 patients so far this year. We would like to thank all patients and staff for helping to create smooth and efficient clinics.

We are always trying to find new services to meet the needs of our patients. We currently provide an Electrocardiogram (ECG) clinic. From January 2025 Dr Harris will be offering a contraception clinic providing Coils and Implants.

We want to ensure that patients, their families and carers are represented and heard from at all stages of their treatment.

A Patient Participation Group (PPG) is generally made up of a group of volunteer patients and the Practice Manager. Patient participation groups meet on a regular basis to discuss the services on offer, and how improvements can be made for the benefit of patients and the practice. We are encouraging patients who have been given a blood form which hasn’t been request by Cumberland House surgery,
to book online elsewhere, please visit the Patient Connect Secure Digital Booking System.
